I was checking some of blogs I regularly visit tonight and I came across this piece of art at The Plow. How does it strike you? I am reminded the the phrase "God with us". Not a God trapped in history.

I like the picture. It has a nativity in more modern day look to it. The artist has done a good job keeping the old artistic look while placing it in a more current time. Somebody recently told me they went to a church and looked at a collaboration of nativities on display. There were 650 different nativity sets and scenes from around the world. Very interesting - God is with us in all times and all places.
